Nashua, NH - April 3, 2012 -- Gambit Communications, a leading provider of powerful and affordable network and SNMP simulation tools to more than 1,000 customers worldwide, today announced the availability of the latest version of its network simulation product, MIMIC Simulator Suite 12.00. The latest MIMIC includes sFlow Simulator, along with NetFlow and IPFIX Simulator. This combination delivers a state-of-the-art solution for complete testing and evaluation of monitoring, management and analysis applications.

MIMIC Simulator Suite also provides significant ease-of-use functionality to easily create complex simulation environments.

New sFlow Simulator - Creates a lab full of devices generating sFlow data to completely evaluate and test your Flow monitoring, management and analysis applications. You are able to generate traffic from the values stored in simulated SNMP agents.

Load multiple agent configurations - You are now able to incrementally load device configurations. This way you can pick and choose devices to be simulated from various recorded networks.

Customization of MIB objects - With new features in the MIMIC GUI you can easily configure MIB objects individually and in a group to create customized simulations.

Menus - Re-designed menu items to make features more accessible.

Videos - You can view many video on YouTube linked from MIMIC's QuickStart guide to quickly learn about many of MIMIC's features.

More platforms - MIMIC is now supported on Fedora 16 and Ubuntu 11.10 along with existing Linux and Windows platforms.
